I’ll have regular virtual town hall meetings to discuss issues being addressed in the legislature. During my campaign for Maine House District 123 (Orono), I have been inviting voters to attend virtual house parties (via zoom). The parties enable voters to participate in discussions with me and other Orono residents from the comfort of their homes. While not as up close and personal as meeting voters at their doors, these gatherings enable people to chat with me in a group. Beginning next week, they will be posted on Facebook Live and will be recorded, enabling voters to view them asynchronously.
I’ll advocate for more financial assistance for municipalities from the state and I will support the purchase of the electrical utilities (CMP, Versant) by the state, as it will improve service and reduce costs.
