State House District
The greatest challenges facing Maine right now are preparing for the long-term economic impact the Covid-19 virus has had on our State. Every community and every person has been affected in some way and we will need to balance and mitigate the impact.

Covid has also brought to light areas of our healthcare systems where we can do better. Public health, disparity in healthcare between rich and poor and racial and ethnic disparity and a need for future preparedness.

The need for broadband expansion and technology has been more evident than ever in recent months. Broadband is one of the roads that can lead us to economic security.
1. To fight for and be a voice for Maine's working families as we emerge from the pandemic. 2. Strive for social justice at a prime time to finally work for equality and fair access to government for all. 3. Guard our natural resources and turn to their potential in farming, forestry, and tourism as we restore our economy and take charge of our future.
Invite feedback and engage in discussion that seeks opinions using social media, print media, zoom meetings and any other form of communication that would engage voters.

Public forums, town meetings, predictable hours to be available either in person or virtually to talk with voters are just some of the ideas.

We want civic engagement and constituent feedback is the most important feedback an elected official can receive.
I would advocate for accessing any funds available to Old Town and Indian Island to assist in the emergency response and recovery to the Covid-19 pandemic. As elected officials, it is our responsibility to make sure these funds are allocated to the people that need them the most. I would advocate for the working families, seek any and all resources and support and for our educational system and our municipalities so we can be successful and rebound in the most viable way possible.
