Climate change is the single greatest challenge facing Maine and the future of our planet. Our aging population will bring a need for expanded medical care and retirement support and also an expansion of training for a new younger workforce. Our economy has been hit hard by the Covid-19 pandemic and we need to have smart programs and policies that will help people get back to work while keeping everyone safe, especially our most vulnerable.
Pushing legislation that will make Maine a leader on fighting climate change by advocating for a new green economy, advocating for habitat preservation for all the other species of life that we share this State with, fighting for a healthcare system that provides affordable and efficient high quality coverage for all people.

I will encourage civic engagement by being always available to my constituents to listen to their ideas and feedback and will encourage them to raise their voices at hearings, by speaking to other legislators and leaders, and by engaging with their neighbors, friends and families to help spread good ideas about policy.
I will help pass legislation that will encourage the expansion of the renewable energy industry which will help the creation of good paying jobs, more regional energy self reliance, and cleaner air and water. I will support legislation that expands access to solar, heat pumps, and electric vehicle access for all Mainers. By protecting our quality of life we also help protect the tourist industry that values our clean air and protected natural space, and the economic benefits that come with it.
