As per the Constitution, the U.S. House of Representatives makes and passes federal laws. The House is one of Congress's two chambers (the other is the U.S. Senate) and part of the federal government's legislative branch.The House has several powers assigned exclusively to it, including the power to initiate revenue bills, impeach federal officials, and elect the President in the case of an electoral college tie. Among other duties, representatives introduce bills and resolutions, offer amendments and serve on committees.Also referred to as a congressman or congresswoman, each representative is elected to a two-year term serving the people of a specific congressional district.

Campaign finance reform. Removing corruption form government so that we have a responsive legislature that will address the climate crisis and create and protect American workers and jobs. Direct citizen COVID relief in the form of a uniform basic income are needed at minimum throughout the duration of the pandemic.
Demonstrating Leadership by making Climate Change a Vital National Security Priority and creating a new White House Office on Climate Security to oversee implementation of Department of Defense and interagency efforts. Realistically Assessing Climate Risks through the creation of an interagency Climate Security Crisis Watch Center under the Office of the Director of National Intelligence. Supporting Allies and Partners by creating Regional Climate Security Plans in critical regions of the world to bolster climate resilience and clean energy transitions in key countries, including our own. Preparing for and Preventing Future Climate Disruption through a Climate Security Infrastructure Initiative to improve the climate resilience of our critical national infrastructure, and an economy-wide Climate Security Prevention Policy both within the United States and abroad to rapidly reduce greenhouse gas emissions at the scale necessary to avoid catastrophic security consequences.
Green New Deal. By leveraging the competence, capabilities, and scale of the US Department of Defense and other agencies, we can not only ensure a more secure and stable world by preventing the worst impacts of climate change, we can rebuild our national infrastructure and create a boom in green energy jobs.
