Economic recovery for House District 64 and the State of Colorado after the COVID 19 pandemic. The biggest problem society faces if the economic fall out of the shutdown of Colorado society during the COVID 19 pandemic and how we will recovery long after the effects of this shutdown have been fully realized. These impacts effect every aspect of our lives as Coloradoans including every level of our community life, our business or professional life and every level of governance.
I will promote policies and programs that reenergize the working and entrepreneurial spirit of Colorado citizens. I will support any and all programs that get our economy moving forward and return our state to normal operations. LIving in fear and blindly following empirical or statistical models without applying practical or common sense is not the answer to solving the problems we face in Colorado. Government spending will not buy our way out of these economic problem either. We, as Coloradoans, must work our way out of this dilemma caused by the Emergency Orders of the state Governor. Our best solutions come from using common sense and smart mindedness coupled with sound scientific facts. We as political leaders also need to apply some good old fashion common sense. Often times, good judgement that may have no statistical basis, can lead to the best outcome. I feel that this is clearly the way ahead to recovering from the socioeconomic fallout of the COVID 19 pandemic.
