Because of climate change, Colorado faces a warmer future, with effects including shorter winters, increased air pollution, and devastating fires, floods, and droughts. Climate change threatens our fragile water supply. Our iconic outdoor recreation and tourism economies are vulnerable to ecological changes from warming. We need ambitious, structural change to achieve critical climate goals. My plan includes three main pillars: reducing carbon and instituting a renewable energy economy; taking care of communities; and making our systems resilient against immediate and future impacts. I am already taking steps to achieve Colorado’s climate goals. Please read my climate plan at

I am focused on addressing three key priorities: Climate change is the first. Next, I will fight to bring economic opportunity to ALL Coloradans. Third, I will work tirelessly to bring better health care, specifically mental health care, to our state
We must get emergency cash relief to the wage earners who are suffering the most. We must ensure that no person or family loses their home due to the pandemic. From there, we must rapidly transform our economic institutions to rebalance the economy. State leadership in 2021 will be key, and I plan to push hard for smart and innovative policies. A key consideration in rebalancing Colorado's economy is establishing a more fair and just system of taxation. Next, it is clear that Coloradans need affordable access to quality medical care. I support transitioning to a single-payer system and disconnecting health care from employment status. Finally, the pandemic has underscored an urgent need to bolster our economic institutions. We need a new vision to build resilience through greater equity. My economic plan for greater equity:
