I am a husband, a father, a son to immigrants who came here in search of the American Dream. I am a proud product of public schools and a graduate of the oldest law school in the nation. I chose to become a kindergarten teacher after graduating from law school because I wanted to make the American Dream more accessible to kids like me. Serving as a teacher in an underserved community showed me the immense potential all kids possess but how our leaders have failed to create environments where they can all thrive and fulfill their potential. It is absolutely unacceptable for us to be ranked #1 in the nation in incarceration but to be at the bottom when it comes to education funding. I am running for public office because I want to help build an America as good as its promise. I want to help build a nation where we expand opportunity to more and more people, instead of restricting it. A nation where life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are within reach for all.
Education & Opportunity: -Enact universal childcare. -Enact universal pre-kindergarten. -Increase education funding and teacher pay. -Eliminate tuition at public colleges and universities.

Health & Economic Security: -Achieve universal healthcare for all Americans. -Protect rights to access reproductive health care. -Pass comprehensive gun safety legislation. -Raise the minimum wage to a living wage.

Justice & Equity: -Stop over-policing of black and brown communities and end the war on drugs. -End practice of family separation and inhumane detention at the border. -Strengthen DACA and provide pathway to citizenship for all undocumented immigrants. -Respect sovereign rights of tribal nations and honor all tribal treaties.

Environment & Infrastructure: -Rejoin Paris Agreement. -Transition to 100% renewable energy. -Ensure smooth transition for energy workers impacted by shift to renewable energy. -Create millions of well-paying jobs upgrading infrastructure and public transportation.
I have dedicated my life to public service and leadership. I am more interested in serving the public good, not my own selfish interests. I am a person of high character and moral integrity and I will set a good example in how I comport myself and how I treat others. I will always strive to be the type of leader that Oklahomans can be proud to call their representative.
