Personal Biography Shannon was raised here in Douglas County by a community who offered care throughout her youth that was steeped in trauma. Without those who offered their support (neighbors, friends’ families, many wonderful teachers, and social service folks) - Shannon is certain her life would look different. Luckily, those folks planted the seeds of values Shannon works to live by: JUSTICE, SAFETY, & CHANGE. She's eager to bring her advocacy skills, along with the power of peoples' voices, to a new level.
