Providing the services for our residents at the most cost effective means possible. Combating the ever growing opioid epidemic. I am the liaison for our Municipal Alliance and we work closely with our Police Department to educate our young people.
Our ever growing tax burdens in this state. We must combine resources where possible and look for commonalities among neighboring towns. We also need economic development as our businesses are few in our borough. We do have Dollar Generals moving in to town so that will be some help to our budget.
I think it's a great idea. It's a win for all involved and allows each contributor to save money. We have many shared services already and are always looking for new ones.
Our location makes this difficult. We don't have a lot of major road exposure and this limits our ability to bring in businesses. We do have a committee and they are actively trying to bring in what they can.
