What are your short-term and long-term plans to address the budgetary and economic impacts of COVID-19 in our municipality?

Looking ahead to a post-pandemic future, what are we learning from the impact of the COVID-19 public health crisis on municipal operations that will change how municipalities operate in the future?

My short term plans are to assist our small businesses in receiving help for their losses due to Covid 19 and to ensure Manville's Residents and Businesses' voices are heard and not forgotten about in Trenton, and that they are able to re-open and begin again without worry of loss business or revenue.

My long term goals are to ensure our Borough is prepared ahead of time for any crisis that may occur in the future. This includes a greater outreach with stocking PPE, informing residents of all avenues they can take for help in any dire situation, whether it be monetary or just the agencies that can help them provide food and medicine for loved ones when their income is suddenly cut.
I believe we must learn from what we have experienced, but not in a way or form in which it would hinder our progress as a Municipality. We already have implemented policy for hour changes and manpower shifting in the event of another pandemic or any emergency that we may face in the future. But we must as a society move forward as well as be vigilant on what we have learned from this experience.
