Top Priority: The wellbeing of All people in Garfield County.

To address the top priority: Listen, understand their words, show respect towards them always. Say what I mean, mean what I say, and then do what I say I will do.
I use my heart first, then my brain to assure all decisions are done with all people in mind and how the decisions will affect their lives. Apply rules and regulations and remain as flexible as possible. Achieve the maximum positive for most people we serve.

Government that works for all I believe that we have to come together and acknowledge our different identities and experiences, so that we can create a plan for the future where everyone can thrive, not just a select few. *Smart sustainable growth with affordable and accessible housing *Investments in critical infrastructure, such as reliable internet access and public transportation *Expanding senior and child welfare programs, age friendly community initiatives *Accessible medical and mental health costs in our county *Equitable community development

Conserve our natural heritage A healthy climate is the foundation for a thriving economy. I will fight to protect our public lands, watersheds, wildlife and our conservation heritage by bringing these values into the county’s vision for the future. *Incentivizing sustainable and regenerative practices for farmers and ranchers *A 100% clean energy goal for Garfield County *Sustainable outdoor recreation *Diversify our economy
I will emphasizing budgeting with a long-range perspective, not just simply an exercise in balancing revenues and expenditures one year at a time. Balancing impacts of budget decisions over a multi-year planning and assess whether program and service levels can be sustained. With COVID, making sure our small business can survive and our essential workers can continue to live in our community.

I will also bring the perspective of equity when budgeting, making sure the most vulnerable in our community have an opportunity to lift themselves from poverty, through policies that allow women and minority owned business opportunity to win capital projects generated from the county.
