Vigo County School Board, Fifth District
The Vigo County School Board (VCSC Board of Trustees) is composed of seven members elected by district to four-year terms. There is no primary election, and a general election is scheduled for November 2026. In order to run in this school board race, candidates have to reside in the school district for at least one year before the election, be registered to vote in the district he or she seeks to represent, and be at least 21 years of age. Additionally, no teacher or non-certified employee of a school district is permitted to be a member of its school board.All candidates for membership on the Board of School Trustees shall be voted upon by the voters residing within the boundaries of Vigo County.For more information, see the VCSC Board of Trustees Website.
