Nevins Township Trustee
The Township Trustee the executive officer of the township, elected by the voters of that township. Their duties include: keeping a written record of official proceedings, managing all township property interests, attending all meetings of the township board, receive and pay out township funds, examine and settle all accounts and demands chargeable against the township, administer township assistance, perform the duties of fence viewer, act as township assessor when required, provide and maintain cemeteries, provide fire protection, file annual personnel report, provide and maintain township parks, destroy detrimental plants, provide insulin to the poor, appoint an attorney, administer oaths of office when necessary, enter into certain oil and gas leases, serve as notary, use of township vehicle.Salary: $8,747.56Term Length: 4 years
