What would be your priorities if elected?

Indiana is experiencing a teacher shortage. What, if any, policy changes would you support to help retain and recruit public education teachers in Indiana?

How would you evaluate our voting and election processes in Indiana? What changes, if any, to voting access or security would you propose?

According to the Environmental Integrity Project, Indiana has the most polluted waterways in the county due to many sources of pollution (i.e. runoff from farming, chemicals, manure, and stormwater runoff in suburban and urban areas). What steps do you propose to take to improve the quality of our water?

To cut the gas excise tax; cap the sales tax on gasoline; reorganize and cut property taxes; and to promote economic development and job growth here. In the Wabash Valley.
I would take some of the Indiana surplus and create college grants to create an incentive for students to choose teaching as a profession. We need to make teachers role models again. The state needs to chip in more to help localities keep good teachers.
I prefer a paper trail in all 92 counties using optical scanner technology to initially count. The paper trail is very important to voters. I also want to make sure we keep Voter ID. But we need to find a way to make sure all the illegal immigrants coming in cannot use IDs given to them by other states or Joe Biden's administration to register to vote. The problem is verifying citizenship using databases beyond Indiana. It is controversial, but Indiana must never allow non-citizens to vote in any election: local, state or federal. If you want to vote, then become a legal citizen.
With farmers using engineered seeds to be more resistant to drought and insects, Indiana farmers are moving toward using less fertilizer, fungicide and insecticide to do the job they must to feed us. Indiana food is one of our largest exports. We must invest in soil and water conservation districts and offices. And programs that train landowners to use best management practices in land cultivation, forest management, invasive species. It all leads to cleaner water.

Protect our local control for land use decisions regarding agriculture, natural resources, economic development, coal. Protect and advocate for local infrastructure funding to fix roads, bridges and drainage. Advocate for funding that will allow for better access to behavioral and public health needs. We must support training initiatives to skilled workers and providers into the healthcare system and address reimbursement rates for rural hospitals and emergency medical services.
I would support providing incentives for education of people whom are seeking a teaching certificate. I would support higher wages and alternate sources of funding for teacher pay besides property taxes.
I would rate our processes as very good. We offer many options to vote for almost an entire month prior. I support vote centers.
I would fight to maintain septic tank inspections to be done by local health departments. I propose no tillage and cover crop for farms.
