Why I am Running
I am running because Clermont County needs to update and modernize the Clerk of Courts Office. I understand the job, offer fresh insights, and Clermont cannot afford to lag behind the services that other counties offer. After over 15 years with the same person in the office, it's time for a change, and I am the right person for the job.

Recently I was part of a team that completed a $68 million building project- on time and under budget. I’m regularly on highly successful major projects for the Neuroscience Institute. I enjoy being a go-to person who people can count on to get the job done. I love Clermont County and want to serve and fight for the people of this county.
First, I believe in the independence of the judiciary. That said, I think that the Clermont County Courts help set the tone for efficiency, transparency, and customer service in county operations. Accurate, transparent, and professional records ensure Clermont's courts work well for the public, judges, prosecutors, public defenders, lawyers, law enforcement, mental health, and addiction professionals. I will ensure good stewardship by:

-Modernizing the Clerk for the Common Pleas to make it more user-friendly and put more documents online for public access. -Ensure communication is clear within the system and to the public. -Keep the public informed of activities via newspapers, updated website, and social media. -Strengthen networks among the various related officers. -Ensure records are well-maintained and searchable.
The Clerk of Court’s office is outdated, and it's time to modernize:

-Review the budget with fiscal responsibility at the top of the list. -Create a credit and debit card payment system for ease of use for customers. -Implementation of the electronic filing (efiling) case system. -Ensure Common Pleas staff have appropriate training to support their needs and provide positive service. -Move toward adding more public documents online, including public records to save citizens' time and money.
