Revenue generated from the Will County sales taxes should be allocated in the following ways:

1. A portion should be dedicated first and foremost to our Veterans. Serving the needs of mental health, housing and job preparedness.

2. Another portion should be geared towards more satellite offices providing county services throughout the county.

3. Finally, a portion should go towards helping minorities achieve new skills for the jobs of today.
Since I am not an elected official serving on the Will County Board at this time, the budget process is new to me. I will be attending the Will County finance committee meeting where they will be discussing the budget to learn more about the budget. I would hope that the budget would maintain services needed by Will County residents.
My qualifications include patient care, customer relations and clinical management. I have over 10 years experience serving the public and it's something I have always truly cared about, helping people. Having this skill set gives me the ability to speak to strangers, ask them what their problems are, listen to them and help find a solution. That's exactly what a good County Board Member should do.
