I believe the federal government, on both sides of the aisle, needs to step up and send needed funding to municipalities across the state. Now more than ever, it's important that we have essential services such as police and fire departments, nursing homes, battered women's shelters, and veterans hospitals.

I would have to see exact language on any bill, but I am in favor of an equitable map that reflects the regional diversity of Illinois.
I support voting by mail and would support expansion of the program. I've voted to strengthen our electoral system before and I'd do it again.
