The Supreme Court of Ohio--the highest state court and the court of last resort--is responsible for the administration of Ohio's judicial branch. Incumbent Nancy A. Fuerst of Cleveland Heights is the only candidate on the General Election ballot. She ran as a Democrat in the April primary, while no candidate ran in the Republican Party primary.Judges run in partisan (political party) races in the primary, but in nonpartisan races in the fall.
