I am best qualified for this office because of my financial stewardship, transparency, community engagement, and heart for the residents of Nashville. I served 12 years on the Budget and Finance Committee for the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County and also provided financial oversight for youth focused nonprofits.
If elected to the position of County Trustee, I plan to increase the visibility and the awareness of the office for the residents of Nashville by creating mobile sites. Additionally, I plan to partner with the Financial Empowerment Center and the Office of Property Assessor to educate residents on the importance of home ownership and paying property taxes.
The most pressing issue facing the public that I plan to address are the rapidly increasing housing prices within the city of Nashville and Davidson County. I will address how state funded programs can benefit seniors, veterans, and the disabled community. Access to these programs, for these residents, will provide the much needed assistance for so many of these Nashvillian's who are struggling to make ends meet. These programs provide relief to many residents by alleviating some of thes pricing pressures caused by rapidly rising property values.

My many years service in Metro Government. I was employed by Metro Water Service for 30 plus years and collected all fees from plumbers and developers, builders, and home owners; excluding monthly Water Sewer bills. Served In Metro Council two Terms in the largest populated District in Davidson County. These have given me the ability to be the custodian of the revenue of the Metro Trustee's office, and turn the revenue over to the Finance Department.
It is my goal to manage the office with the highest integrity and respect as in the past. This is the manner the public expects and I will continue that program. This can only be done with the great employees of the well run office.
It is my goal to collect all revenue in the most efficient manner possible. We will collect all revenue in a fair and equal manner. Serving all equally without fear or favor. Administer the Tax Relief program in the most effective way possible. Reaching out to all that are eligible.
