The areas I'm most passionate about include:
- ensuring adequate support for our public schools, especially teachers;
- making access to quality, affordable healthcare a reality for all Missourians, starting with medicaid expansion
- advocating for safer neighborhoods and communities by supporting law enforcement through funding and accountability measures that will help restore and maintain trust between them and the public. As a gun owner I’m also passionate about common sense gun measures including background checks, training and safety education;
- ensuring that Jefferson City honors the will of the voters by bringing more transparency to government and fairness to our electoral process, something legislators are trying to roll back right now.
I would encourage a dialogue centered around a focus on a common goal: helping our communities succeed and thrive. I would develop and support measures that enable our state government to--through funding, policy, or other appropriate means--empower our communities to put their resources to the best use. I would support measures addressing Missouri's infrastructure to keep the travel and communication between our communities swift and safe.

I am passionate about civil liberties and ensuring that every Missourian is respected regardless of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation. I am an advocate for our 2nd Amendment rights and a voice for the unborn because they are persons who deserve the same protections as any other Missourian.
I believe the rule of law is important. Legislators write and uphold legislation, not arbitrarily, but with a view toward the greater good. I will seek to listen to all my constituents and make decisions based on our Missouri Constitution and what will be best for the majority.
