I will not play party politics. To many of our representatives serve their party above american citizens. Too often they are willing to expand their own power and control. The best approach to legislating is that less is more. We need creative solutions rather than simply throwing money at problems. Government spending is inefficient and wasteful and often is only directed at the politically connected.
The National debt in my opinion is the most troubling and perhaps most comprehensive problem facing The US Government. Every president promises to curtail the deficits but always increases them at an accelerated pace. This is short sighted. This is politically motivated to make things look good in the present simply to increase the chances for for reelection. Sooner or later this is going to catch up with us. Every citizen's share of the national debt is $80,000. There is an economic collapse waiting if we do not take action. Families must balance their budget. The government must do the same. We have to get on a pay as you go basis. In peacetime there is no moral justification to make future taxpayers pay for our current expenditures. It makes no sense fiscally either. We must make the hard choices to curtail spending and make the government fiscally responsible.

Talking about it, addressing my concerns and reasons why to the appropriate party as well as the constituents to understand their needs and concerns and then take necessary actions to get the job done. Example, fighting for everyone to have health care.
Access to healthcare, Education, and increase in federal minimum wage so that every working person can provide for their family. It is not just a want, it is a need, a necessity to improve the quality of life for every human being. No one should have to choose between paying their rent of paying for their prescription medication. Education should be quality and equal for all loans and student loan debt shouldn’t have you one step away from homelessness because once again you have to chose or be penalized in some type of way. It is hard for anyone to get ahead in life and provide for their family only making $8.00 an hour. Sustainability is needed. We the people should be the #1 priority that’s who should be served first. Nothing before their needs to live a better life.
