The priorities is the lack of funding for not only public education, but the teachers as well. All sorts of money is being dumped into industrial development, I belive a harder stance needs to be taken on education instead.
I belive if a valid state ID is required to vote, then IDs should be free and easy to obtain. Voting is our right as American citizens, if that is a right, then anything that is required to exercise our right, should not have restrictions or obstacles placed in front of them.
Ensure these projects that keep popping up, ie. windfarms and solar farms, are not just taking up land and shipping the energy collected to other areas. Build substations in these towns or cities and let them use that resource.
The government has to step in at some point, and not let companies buy up homes to turn around and sell at the inflated value. Guidelines, boundaries, or rules need to be set and enforced with heavy fines, which can then be extra funding into the education system.
Voters should be able to voice their opinions and concerns to their elected officials, a ballot initiative is the perfect way for those voters to truly have their voices heard.
