Education/Experience University of Cincinnati, BSCE 1995; Wright State University, MBA 2002; Ohio Professional Engineer; Ohio Professional Surveyor; 27+ years of managerial, engineering and field experience in county and municipal government.
The most responsibility is to effectively maintain and improve the roads and bridges of Greene County, for the efficient and safe use of the traveling public. This responsibility includes the repair, replacement, and improvement of roads and bridges as well as snow and ice removal during the winter. It also includes being proactive and planning for future growth from development while reducing congestion and implementing safety improvements. I consider safety a top priority, so whether you work in an office or on the roadways, everyone deserves to get home safely every night.
I strongly believe with my 27+ years of managerial, engineering and field experience that I have become a leader who has much to offer Greene County. I believe I bring a lot of experience to the table in both county and municipal government (in both urban and rural environment) including roadway, bridge, drainage, water/sewer, development and construction which is of great benefit to Greene County. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to deliver results while developing and building relationships with governmental departments and agencies, community leaders, businesses, industries, employees and residents on a continuous basis. I have an excellent track record including fiscal management, long-term planning, construction/design, economic development, business and government relations, and maintaining infrastructure. I was appointed County Engineer the Summer of 2019 and began with the Memorial Day tornado cleanup while still balancing daily operations for our office.
