Position/philosophy statement I share the conservative, family values of the voters of our district and if elected, I will represent the district accordingly.
My biggest concern is getting the economy and jobs back to a normal level as it was before the COVID-19. North Carolina will have major problems with budget appropriations and revenues until we get the economy and jobs back to a normal level. A good economy and people with jobs solves a lot of problems.
Health care cost is a major problem, and there is no easy fix. I think it starts with promoting a more healthy population and giving a premium discount for healthy life styles.
I like the cap that NC has already put on the income tax rate and has established more user sales tax policies.
I am in favor of more concentrated geographic areas and areas that have more in common. Also, I would like to see more undivided counties.
