Position/philosophy statement We are better working together, be the change you want to see.
The most important issue would probably be the economy, getting people back working again, with favorable wages after the pandemic of 2020. Also helping small businesses get back on their feet, once their doors are open to the public again. The mental health of the county, the effects on family from COVID-19.
The most effective role the County Commissioners can play in improving the local schools would be to make sure the funds are allocated properly to all schools. Policies put in place to keep our schools safe and secure for staff and students once schools are open during this pandemic.
Policies surrounding Health Care, favorable wages, strengthen Social Security and improving education. Policies surrounding affordable housing.
Policies that hold the county accountable for allocating funds properly. Policies that would better educate people on the benefits of social services to our county.
