Centennial School District simply put does not provide the educational value for the resident's tax dollar that it should. After five straight years of steady decline in academic performance, Centennial's leadership touts growth in 60% of measures as a turning point, but I say to the community that 60% is not good enough.

New programs are piloted without an effective control group to measure results against and often abandoned before anyone knows if they were successful or not. The district has very good teachers, but living in a constant implementation dip is like dropping a cement block on your foot, with every day Groundhog Day. Indecision and lack of parent, teacher input on math programs is one tragic example.

As a Centennial School Director, I pledge to hold high expectations for every student, every day. Warminster is beautiful, vibrant suburban community with a rich history of innovation. Our children deserve better than 60%.
I know firsthand that Centennial students are capable of achieving at very high levels. As Wiliam Tennent High School's volunteer debate coach, I placed students in the top 14 in the country twice in the last five years (2014 and 2019).

I frequently teach workshops on K-12 education on an array of topics ranging from budgeting and long-range financial planning to best practices in school safety.

My governance experience includes the current chair of the Valley Forge district of the National Speech and Debate Association, immediate past president of the Philadelphia Catholic Forensic League, District 12 chair of the Pennsylvania High School Speech League (PHSSL), PHSSL executive board member, Treasurer of the Pennsbury Education Foundation, and Board Secretary of the Pennsbury School District where I serve as Chief Financial Officer.

Finally, education runs through my veins. My father is a retired middle school principal, my mother a retired teacher, and my sister a vice principal.
