North Brunswick Township Mayor

The Mayor is the Chief Executive Officer of the Township. The Mayor serves a four year term and presides over the Township Council but only votes with the Council to break ties. The Mayor has the veto power subject to override by a 2/3 vote of the Council members. The Mayor appoints the municipal clerk, administrator, attorney, tax collector, tax assessor, treasurer and department heads with Council approval and may remove them upon written notice to the Council.
