Education of the Public in matters relating to Distribution of assets at time of death. Changing demographics of county population and substantive changes to the Probate Code require frequent contact with public so that they stay informed as to what is required for orderly distribution . Many new residents of County may be influenced by cultures that have totally different practices for such distributions. Many more established culturally knowledgeable residents may not be aware of changes in Probate Code which could affect their estates. My experience allows me to conduct frequent seminars and educational sessions with the public to accomplish these goals. Surrogate Court must also conduct business in competent and compassionate manner
