a) Maintaining department services at or above the same level as the town continues to grow in population. Without putting a burden on taxpayers for additional revenue. b) Prepare for and meet the future challenge for public safety based on population growth and with that the likelihood of crime opportunity. With additional patrol cars from the Sheriffs Office.
I would like to start a program where the town board of alderman and mayor make visits to existing neighborhoods when development is being proposed in their areas and have direct affect to those neighborhoods. To have the ability to sit down with the neighborhood residents and speak with them on their concerns of the development, and possibly have the developer come speak with them as well to find a common ground to address their concerns. Then the board can vote on the issue accordingly.

Now that our town has a population of roughly 13,000 I would like to zone the positions of alderman to fit the town so that every area in the town is represented. As of now all positions for alderman are at large. There should be representation from each area of the town for each position.

Term Limits, citizens of Arlington should have a say if the Alderman and Mayor are term limited.
