PA ranks 46th in the US for its share of education funding, placing a heavy burden on local districts. Through PA Schools Work, I will advocate for increased state funding of public education so our district can maintain academic excellence while minimizing the tax burden on residents.

Youth depression, anxiety, and suicide are on the rise. I want to emphasize building skills like emotion regulation, impulse control, decision-making, and healthy relating. Research links lack of sleep with teen depression, cognitive impairment, driving accidents, substance use, and poor health. On the Sleep/School Start Tmes Subcommittee, we'll explore what is best for our students and our district.
