I am detail and processes oriented leader who has a knack for getting things done. I have 15 years of leadership experience in my own organization, growing a business from just myself to 15 employees.
I am also a concerned citizen who loves Franklin Park. I want to protect its green and forested nature, and preserve the character of its neighborhoods.
Franklin Park is an amazing place and is attracting new families and economic interest. With these positives, comes two large challenges I see. First is interest from unwanted developments such as fracking in Franklin Park. Our borough council recently enacted an ordinance to zone for oil and gas drilling near peoples homes. I will do more, as councilman, to protect our homes, our health, and our home values. Second is increased building permits and development. I believe we need leaders who will develop, with community input, a sensible, strategic growth plan.
I believe in equal rights for all people, regardless of race. I would pursue policies that ensure this ideal.
I believe in transparency and accountability for all public servants. This is why I have been live streaming all of our borough council meetings since January.

My role in leadership positions have been many. In addition to creating and building a thriving actuarial consulting business I have served as president of the American Academy of Actuaries, the professional Association for actuaries located in Washington DC, the American Society of Pension Actuaries and Vice President of the Conference of Consulting Actuaries. Most recently I was appointed as Fire Police Captain of the Franklin Park Volunteer Fire Company. The endless hours of research and review during the five plus years on Council have given me a deep understanding of Borough issues.
Franklin Park - Ward 2 District 3
The most important challenge for Franklin Park is the overall protection of our citizens.
The second issue of concern relates to structured growth within the borough that provides for the delicate balance between the rights of citizens to sell their land and provide for the protection of the Borough from unwanted developments.
The third issue is to maintain the transparency and integrity that has been the cornerstone of the existing Council and Mayor.
I have been in leadership positions throughout my career. Many of those have been challenging scenarios requiring considerations of multiple and diverse opinions. My position will be to continue the policy of listening closely to all sides and hopefully making sage and prudent decisions.
Franklin Park has historically and presently maintains an outstanding, dedicated and professional police force. We will continue to provide the best of training and leadership support to ensure then all treated evenly and fairly. Comprehensive policies and stringent leadership requirements will remain paramount.
