Why are you running for this office?
What qualifications and experience do you have that will assist you in the performance of the duties of this office?
Paralegal, Legal Administrator in private sector, county law, municipal government and corporate where I interacted with international audit firms; Real Estate Agent
Auditors are empowered to review Township financial records and provide a report to the public. At the present time, as a current Auditor, the Audit Committee meets once a year. It is effectiveness, not efficiency, that is in question. Auditors have limited duties because the Township employs a CPA firm to perform a certified audit yearly. State law provides for Auditors to perform certain responsibilities; I would restore the role of the 3 Auditors as a safeguard committee.
I have 35 years of experience as a paralegal/legal administrator in the private sector and had responsibility for budget management. As a Real Estate Agent, obligated by law and ethics, I take seriously my accountability and fiduciary responsibilities to Sellers and Buyers. Over the past 13 years, I maintained financial records/filings for 27 candidates/organizations. I understand the importance of monies being spent in accordance with policy, procedure and law.
