Because one of the most critical requirements of any elected official is to be ultra-careful with constituents’ money, the job of the auditor is vital for the health of the community. As auditor, I will be a miser when it come to protecting the residents of Solebury from ill-advised spending. That is my main purpose in running for re-election, the financial protection of Solebury and its voters.
Since the 1980s, I have been handling and overseeing budgets, first at Trenton State College during the financial crises of the New Jersey state college system, as a grant awards judge for the National Endowment for the Arts, overseeing grant budget requests, for my nonprofit community counseling organization, which relies on grants, and for Solbury Township since 2017.
