Responsible Growth: Enhance the unique "feel" of Plumstead via responsible development to keep our township thriving, while maintaining the balance of population density and rural space. Will work to maintain our land use autonomy, strengthen zoning ordinances and identify creative investments, in appropriate locations.

Protect Critical Resources: Help ensure we are able to maintain and enhance our critical infrastructure. Will fund and work with other government and quasi-government organizations so needed maintenance of our sewer and storm-water systems, roads and power grid operates effectively, in normal conditions and extra-ordinary situations.

Enhance Parks and Trails: Promote the use of our current parks and trails, ensure their maintenance, and explore where small investments can leverage our already existing parklands for the enjoyment of our citizens.

Promote Our Villages: Enhance our community character by promoting the identity of the villages that are in Plumstead.
I am committed to work to do what is best for the citizens of Plumstead Township by working now to take care of the future.

I will bring some diversity to the Board of Supervisors with my varied experience, informed by my educational and professional background. When there is a diversity of informed perspectives, the best decisions can be made for Plumstead Township.

I have the time to devote the role of Township Supervisor. It is a rigorous job, sometimes requiring many hours of preparation and meetings. Not only do I have the time; I also have a strong desire to serve my community.

My wife and I enjoy living in this community. I want to make a personal investment by being a steward for Plumstead Township. I want to be involved in the decisions that affect Plumstead's present and future.
I am in the third year of my term on the HOA Board of my Plumstead Township community of almost 500 homes; having served one year as President.

I have my B.S. degree from Drexel U., my masters degree in Social Work from Bryn Mawr College, and my business degree (MBA) from Wharton, U. of Pennsylvania. I've developed interpersonal leadership skills, and knowledge of business and finance from this blend of education.

After receiving my MBA, I combined my two graduate degrees to focus on organization development for the next 35+ years, where I worked in large businesses (e.g. GE, Monsanto, Allstate) and consulting firms, helping individuals, teams and organizations work more effectively.

I know, and have taught leadership from the point of view of positional power (management) and as part of a team tasked with working together for the common good. Considering the arrangement of our board, little can be accomplished without the ability to listen, speak and compromise. I can do that.

The township supervisor is responsible for deciding issues of public safety, spending, growth management, zoning, road and streets, code enforcement, environment, emergency services and other municipal services and how to pay for it all. As a township supervisor I will always insist upon having full information on the issues so I can carry out the required tasks and vote in the best interests of the residents of Plumstead.
I have a lifetime of service experience. I have served my country. I have served the veteran community. I have served the youth of our communities. Now I desire to serve the larger community, my chosen community, the residents and businesses of Plumstead Township. I have been here for a long time and plan on living in Plumstead for the rest of my life. I would like to become a participant in the decision-making process on the issues facing our township. Serving as supervisor is not a stepping stone to other elected offices, it is my end goal and I will devote the maximum effort I can to serve well.
I have over 20 years’ experience in managing projects from inception to completion. I am an Electronics Engineer by trade and thus have extensive experience in troubleshooting with emphasis on finding the root cause of problems and instituting corrective actions. I have over 15 years of experience at leadership positions in Veterans Service Organizations. In these positions I have increased membership and attendance at meetings through innovative techniques in meeting presentations. I have increased revenues at each organization and have increased donations to worthy community activities and organizations that help other veterans. I have many years’ experience speaking to students at local middle schools and high schools on Veterans Day and Memorial Day. I have been the main speaker at the Plumstead Veterans Day celebration for the past several years. Through all this experience I have become skilled in getting things done, managing conflicts, and providing ethical leadership.
