In my opinion, the most important issues in lower Southampton Township is the fact that we have been plagued by corruption, patronage, nepotism, lack of oversight and a severe lack of transparency for too long. I propose to revamp the way that everything is done in the township building with a focus on transparency and inclusion, so we can dissipate the dark cloud that is looming over the township. With all of the modern technology that now exists we have the ability to dispense information quickly and broadly for greater transparency. That way all of the citizens of the township can feel that they are involved in the process, thus bringing the township back to the PEOPLE, where it belongs. We have a very diverse population, but you rarely see any of the other groups represented in our local government. I am going to begin a bipartisan group of volunteers that will work on diversity and inclusion of all. I am fluent in Spanish so I know I can be an asset in that process.
I'm running because I LOVE Lower Southampton. I have been living here since I was five years old. I have been a member of Assumption BVM all of my life, I bought my home here with my wife of 20 years and we are raising our children here. For too long our local government has been single-sided and has forgotten to include all of the people. Our elected officials need to remember that they may be democrat or republican, but once they are in office they need to think about and represent all of the people, not just those on their particular political side or from particular families. I will work hard to bring transparency, inclusion, checks and balances and most importantly ETHICS, back to the board of supervisors of Lower Southampton Township. Furthermore having visited almost every drug rehabilitation center in and around Philadelphia I know that in addition to educating our youth about drugs we need to attack the source, (pill Mills), and we must never allow a safe injection site.
My past experiences include Union Actor, acting teacher, standardized patient, undercover drug patient, (State of Penn. and Villanova University), construction worker, construction manager, contractor, investment property owner, mentor, R.E. instructor and REALTOR®. I have extensive knowledge of plot plans, blue prints, tax Parcels, deeds, titles, zoning classifications, construction trades, estimating, contracts, leases, negotiating, township inspections, use and occupancy issues, millage and taxation. In addition, as a business person I know what it takes to set and maintain a budget, by control expenditures. Most importantly as a REALTOR®, I adhere to a strict code of ethics, and must attend ethics courses every two years. I think we need ethics education in all levels of our political structure. I have attended our township meetings for many years and have spoken out on many issues. My honesty and integrity will improve other people's perspective of the place I call home.

Across America, the opiod crisis Is a devastating situation; Lower Southampton Township is not immune. In 2017, I spear-headed, with the BC Drug and Alcohol Commission, an adult educational training, including the opioid blocker, Narcan, to our residents, at no cost. We were the first township to have this training, through a grant. Community Resource Cards, which I was involved in creating and distributing during my Behavioral Health advocacy career, will be made available to our residents. I will work, diligently, on providing future educational trainings for Lower Southampton Township citizens.
I have been involved in public and community services for many years, in different capacities. I want to continue to do great work for the betterment of Lower Southampton Township - for all residents, businesses, and employees; I am invested in our community’s welfare. I am an individual with a spirit to serve and my blended skills enhance the Board of Supervisors. I will be for the common good, empowering our township to be a leader, and to reinforce our township’s credibility and integrity, without the past of a few defining us. My desire is not self-motivated - it is community-motivated.

Accounting, administration and management, human resource, marketing, business law, statistics, computer business specialist, created and presented various workshops for national, state, forensic conferences, are part of my background. Former BankIng, Police Officer, Behavioral Health Advocate for our county, a member of the PA and Bucks County crisis teams, a victim crisis worker, various county level decision making committees, Library Strategic Planning Committee, Library Board of Directors, Township Planning Committee, honored to be appointed twice, on my own merit, as a Township Supervisor, a concerned resident, who regularly attended township meetings for years, all molded me to be the candidate of choice. I am confident, responsible, ethical, respectful, and effective. My unique blended skills, high standards, and work ethics, hold true to my dedication to benefit our township. I am honored to be endorsed by Dr. Gary Bowman, Retired Neshaminy School District Superintendent.
