Improving our infrastructure while being more accountable and transparent to our community. Like so many areas in Pennsylvania, our infrastructure is aging, from our streets to our sewers. We can no longer keep pushing these issues down the road. I will work with our Township Manager, the other supervisors, and our resident advisory committees to address these issues now in a manner that is fiscally reasonable and responsible and that helps prepare us for the future so our township remains financially strong.
Great communities do not just happen; they require hard work and careful, thoughtful planning. As a Lower Makefield resident for the past 25 years, and as a homeowner, taxpayer, volunteer, and mother, I have a deep love for and dedication to our community. My 27-year professional career in law and public and government service has given me the experience and skills to faithfully represent the interests of our residents and taxpayers. Since being selected to the Board of Supervisors in January 2018, my detailed knowledge of the significant issues facing our township has grown stronger. I want to continue the hard work that has begun, to work with our new Township Manager, my fellow board members, and our resident advisory committees to ensure that we are fiscally accountable, that we responsibly invest in quality services, and that we keep Lower Makefield a great place in which to live, work and play.
Since being selected to the Board of Supervisors in January 2018, I have expanded my in-depth knowledge of the significant issues that concern my fellow residents and taxpayers. I began my career in public government service while working my way through college and then law school. The skills I have developed in my professional career - fiscal budgeting, policy development, and planning - have helped me every day since becoming a Supervisor. Additionally, as a 25-year Lower Makefield homeowner, taxpayer, Cub Scout volunteer, soccer coach, a wife and mother of three, I have practical experience with and knowledge of all aspects of our township. I believe the combination of my personal and professional experience makes me the ideal candidate who can thoughtfully address the serious issues facing the township so that we plan responsibly for the future and maintain our financial stability.
