The lack of executive leadership has plagued our town for decades. Not enough attention has been given to protecting the business district and other town assets that make Pound Ridge unique. Basic infrastructure challenges have gone unaddressed. As town CEO, my proactive approach has been to identify want needs fixing and find grants and other methods to get it fixed. I’ve been working hard to foster more community-based problem solving and calling on the county, state, and utilities to improve.
Access to affordable housing has long been a concern for many in Pound Ridge. I’m dedicated to increasing the supply as it is in the best interest of our town and is a top priority. I've been looking to improve the infrastructure in the business district because it seems to be the best location to meet the affordable housing needs of my constituents, preserves the semi-rural character of our town, and improves our environment since the existing septic systems in that area are failing.

Pound Ridge is a small, bucolic town with a budget of about $8M and population of about 4700. It is necessary to use great care when making a budget and monitoring our spending. I consider myself to be fiscally conservative but with an eye to improving ( and maintaining) our town's many treasures (parks, green spaces, historic buildings and "small town" character). I believe the citizens should be kept apprised of any projects that may be considered and their feedback listened to.
Pound Ridge has done an admirable job in offering affordable housing considering there is no major infrastructure in town. We have met the county's and HUD's requirements.
