We are committed to transparent, accountable government that represents and advancing the interests of all residents, not just a few. We bring professional experience and leadership skills and are committed to strong fiscal management, accountability and inclusion.
I believe strongly that our town needs to dramatically increase the supply of affordable housing for seniors and for families who are priced out of Harrison. The current leaders have actively opposed policy that would have ensured more affordable housing in our community and we are committed to changing that.

Residents continue to comment on Taxes. They want us to lower taxes. The issue is we must continue to Control Cost while still making the needed improvements to enable us to deliver the great services to our residents. Most residents don't realize that the majority of our taxes are for School & County. Approximately 25% of the total tax base that a resident pays goes to the Town. I will listen to our residents and do whatever I can to address their concerns.
I support increasing a fair supply of affordable housing in Harrison. In order to keep our residents from leaving the town we must work to keep them here. Many residents become "empty nesters" and we must work on having a supply of housing for them to purchase to keep them in our community. We have several "rental apartments" but no available units to purchase.

Current Political Office This is my first run for political office.
Education Michael holds a B.S. from Tufts, a J.D. from Michigan Law School, and a Masters in Environmental Law from the London School of Economics.
Prior Civic Service Michael served as a Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section. In addition, he has served on the Board of the Westchester County Department of Parks and Recreation. Recently, Michael co-chaired the Westchester County Executive's Transition Committee on Economic Development.
Harrison is currently run by an entrenched group of political incumbents who are making bad decisions which benefit a small group of well connected insiders. I am a successful businessman and former U.S. DOJ litigator with deep roots in the community. I support smart, sustainable development that respects the character of the community, responsible financial stewardship, and diversity and inclusion. I am running to give our town government back to the people who live and work here.
Fair and affordable housing should be a priority for any community looking to maintain a healthy tax base and grow responsibly. Harrison has numerous developments in the pipeline. Unfortunately, our current town leaders are not meeting County guidelines for affordable housing on these new developments and are not focusing on the needs of the middle class. Furthermore, these developments are not being coordinated with other town needs. I would work to change that short sighted approach.
