I believe our hardworking residents deserve some tax reprieve and that exploring alternative forms of funding is long overdue. Mt. Pleasant is a highly sought after and desirable location for numerous types of businesses and our residents assist in the success of these businesses. So, doesn’t it make sense that all parties should benefit from these relationships? The town has an obligation to stay within its means, with controlled spending and taxes

I 100% support accessible and appropriate housing options for our senior citizen, and it is long overdue. As a community I believe we should be giving back more to our senior residents, many of who have lived here for several decades. They have not only raised their children here, but some are even watching their grandchildren grow up here. These are the folks who helped shape our community and are still just as involved today as they were 30 years ago.
