Best outcomes & progressive results are my goal. I believe reducing the Town's dependence on residential property taxes is doable without a decrease in services. Ensuring tax dollars are spent wisely & efficiently, I propose cost sharing with Villages to increase purchase power & reduce expenses; develop a Town strategic plan to improve Town's brand & image to attract businesses & increase commercial tax base & to bolster funding opportunities & an upgrade to Town's technology is much needed.
I wholeheartedly support increasing fair and affordable housing in the Town of Greenburgh and throughout Westchester County. As someone who was raised in and having lived in Greenburgh for such a long time I am very much aware of the lack of true affordable housing. Our country is in the grips of a severe and pervasive housing affordability crisis. No state has an adequate supply of homes affordable and available. I support concrete solutions and investments for affordable homes.

We provide residents with services superior to those in neighboring municipalities including Police, Public Works, Parks, Community Resources, EMS and Animal Control. For the next four years I look forward to expanding organic waste recycling, thoughtful redevelopment of the Hartsdale Four Corners, upgrading the police/courthouse facility, increasing low income and affordable senior housing units and connecting sidewalks across the town to make Greenburgh a completely walkable community.
The shortage of affordable, workforce and low income housing is chronic. In particular, subsidies for low income housing have all but completely dried up and small housing authorities like Greenburgh have to expand and become self sustaining if they are to survive. I fully support increasing affordable units, affordability in assisted living facilities, holding developers to affordability set asides and community benefits agreements for proposed developments in the town.
