My approach is to harmonize Village policy with the progressive values and material interests of our community. Results of my approach include:

1) securing 100% Green Energy w/ Community Choice Aggregation; 2) adding electric car charging stations; 3) completing the elevated walkway along Elliot Way; 4) continuing upgrades to our water system that have ensured clean drinking water; and 5) back to back budgets below the tax cap.
An affordable housing shortage has pushed out long-time residents and driven away young people. That's why since I joined the Village Board, we've adopted:

1) a new accessory apartment law; 2) the model affordable housing ordinance; and 3) the Senior Citizen/Disability Rent Increase Exemption (SCRIE/DRIE);

I support managing housing costs by expanding rent stabilization, revising zoning to create more housing options, diversifying our tax base and keeping property taxes under control.
