Let’s start with passing the ERA. I am a co-author. Fund and support child care. ( a family issue not just women, but they end up with the responsiblity most of the time ) wage hikes for careers dominated by women.
We could try fully funding it for a change. Examine the disparity between Greater Minnesota and the Metro areas. An example would be broadband.
Investing in our people. Our workforce is second to none and we need to keep it that way. Then they should be paid accordingly.
I am the chief author of the Bump Stock Bill. I am a co-author of the Background Check Bill and the Red Flag Bill.
It is broken and should have a number of reforms, starting with a clear path to citizenship. One of my doctors has been here for twelve years and hopes to become a citizen in another three. That seems a bit long and uncertain. If you serve in the military you should be allowed to be a citizen.
