Working for years in the community has made me extremely resourceful. My clients bring me the biggest problem they have in their lives at the moment and ask me to solve them, in a very timely manner. This requires me to think critically and to be determined because my clients lives or livelihoods depend on it. Years and years of doing this day in and day out requires one to develop a deep bond with many people in the community and I have built a reputation as a problem solver. So to simply put it, I am a problem solver and I am the people's problem solver. I want people to come to me and know that that I will solve their problems to the best of my ability and in the parameters of the law.
Maintaining balance is a difficult challenge that every judge faces. I ask myself now, how do I balance justice with compassion. I think that this is a question that every judge should ask themselves. I know that the people in my precinct work hard for what they have, and imposing fines isn't always the answer. My goal is to find solutions that benefit the community while also teaching lessons to those who break the law. With so much corruption in the area it is understandable that people have lost faith in local government and local institutions. I want to restore the faith back in the court and in our local government.

Court for Truancy will be established in the Mornings. I want our children to be in school and I will handle their cases with a personal touch. I have personally worked on a "Back To School ASAP" program with prominent educational leaders and community leaders to ensure that our children receive the help they need. Parents, Teachers, Counselors, Principals and Myself will pool the resources to tailor a plan that will work for our children. Statistics have shown, Children that are treated as criminals at an early age are more likely to become habitual criminals. The entire purpose of my program is to identify the causes of the Truant Behavior and remedy it with out sending our Children to Juvenile Detention Centers unprecedented outcomes will require unprecedented actions.
