My greatest assets are my 20 years of experience earned on the roads and in the homes of the families I have and will continue to serve in Gillespie County. I possess many certifications and formal education as a career Firefighter Paramedic as well as a state and federal educator in Fire, EMS and Emergency management. I know our court systems and work daily with law enforcement and our current Justice of the Peace.
My priorities are to promote and protect the best interests of Gillespie County. We owe it to ourselves to make sure we have a future. By protecting and preserving the obstacles that prevent that, we will save lives, guarantee a future and save resources. By keeping the Peace we provide the quality of service our taxpayers deserve. Our future will always be my number one priority.
Gillespie County is only as strong as its members. Underage drinking, truancy and traffic issues will be of top priority as all three impacts the stability of our future. If we want to be strong, we must build a strong foundation for our people to stand on. By being proactive we can not only prevent useless tragedies, but can hopefully lesson the caseloads in all our courts, saving lives as well as tax dollars.

I have close to thirty years serving the Courts of Texas, having experience in law enforcement, probation and juvenile residential treatment program administration. My experience includes investigations, community programming, law and standards compliance, and development and administering policy and budget. I am familiar with the Court system in both criminal and civil capacities and have extensive experience in courtroom testimony and presentation.
To approach each individual issue in a fair and unbiased manner and ensure that all involved are confident their case has been handled professionally with respect for all parties involved. My first priority is to serve full time and be accessible and available to those I serve assisting them in whatever capacity I am able. Secondly, establishing a schedule in which cases could be handled in a timely manner without delay.
The most pressing issue facing this office is an overwhelming caseload. The very reason this position is now available is that there is currently too many cases for two Judges to handle. I intend to approach this position in a full time manner and work diligently with the other three Judges to ensure cases are handled in a timely manner with the attention they deserve.
