We have not had a bond election since 1985 and need to pass one to invest in infrastructure while ensuring affordable and accessible healthcare for all residents.
Participating in the electoral process is critical to our democracy. I would establish partnerships with organizations that seek to provide information-based voter education and in a cost-effective manner, include voter registration and other voter information in as many methods that the county communicates with residents about other county-related matters.
Residents of Southeast Tarrant County need better transportation options to get to school, work and to medical services – these are quality of life issues for hard-working families. We must have a long-term solutions approach to include increased state funding, reducing our reliance on toll roads, and investment in regional transportation.
