This is my 22nd year serving as judge. My education consists of degrees in nursing, human development and family studies and law. I have over 500 hours in continuing judicial/legal education and nursing education. I have demonstrated fairness and impartiality, proven dedication and a strong work ethic.
Handles cases from filing to appeal. Exclusive jurisdiction in eviction suits and concurrent jurisdiction with CCL in all class C misdemeanor and civil cases where amount in controversy does not exceed $10,000. Examples include: Issuance of bad checks, traffic, parks and wildlife, stolen property, truancy, administrative hearings. On call 24 hrs for arraignments, probable cause hearings and to administer juvenile rights, and magistrate duties.
