Some of Geneva's many great assets include its people, local businesses, and the natural beauty and resources of the Finger Lakes.  Our three greatest challenges relate to the environment, taxation and sustainable economic development, and poverty.
My contribution in addressing these challenges is simple: In carrying out my work as a Supervisor I will keep them at the forefront of my mind in every decision I make at the County level. You need a long term view to guide decisions.
Fight for Geneva's recognition and reputation. Ensure no landfill expansion and responsible cleanup. Work for continued fiscal health at the county level and seek economic development opportunities that create jobs and are sustainable.
Having been onboarded and having served for several months as a County Supervisor. My past community service in the community and on local boards. And my professional experience as an attorney and non-profit leader.
First, we need to acknowledge that the city-town divide is a strawman. We are one Geneva. Beyond that initial point, we need to look to shared services where efficient. But the shared services must align with shared values.
