I am very proud of my two-year record as Town Supervisor which has included the following: • Adopted a new zoning code (2016) which has been praised by both the business community for its streamlined approvals, expanded uses, and reduced regulations,and by environmental groups for protecting water resources, promoting green energy, and encouraging dark skies; • Approved uses (2016, 2017) that were introduced by the new zoning code, including the first new hotel in over twenty years, multiple affordable senior housing options, and mixed-use buildings; • Adopted and enforced an abandoned property law (2016) which has led to the development and listing for sale of unused buildings and vacant lots; • Created a new website (2016) with notes transparency for posting budgets and employee contracts, and video (2017) of Town, Zoning, and Planning Board meetings;
My plan is to continue my proven record by continuing outstanding fiscal leadership and keeping Town taxes the lowest in Albany County. We have plans to install sidewalks on Route 20 linking Regency Park to Guilderland Elementary School and Guilderland Library, and on Old State Road from Carman Road to Lynnwood Elementary School. We also will start the construction of stormwater management system using $3.5 million in State grants and water improvements using $2.4 million in State grants. We are working with the State on safety improvements at the intersection of Carman Road & Lydius Street, including turning lanes, crosswalks and sidewalks.

We are working to open the Watervliet Reservoir to non-motorized boating and hiking trails. We also plan to add more trail linking neighborhoods to popular destinations.

The Town and the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce have launched the Hometown Heroes Program to honor veterans and current servicemen by placing banners in Tawasentha Park.
