As a Colonie Central High School graduate, I grew up here and have represented it as a Town Board Member and County Legislator. My two terms on the Town Board and four years on the Sign Review Board gave me invaluable insight and experience in making municipal government work for its residents. I have also been heavily involved in the community as a member of the South Colonie Dollars for Scholars Board and having previously served on the Board of Fire Commissioners for Midway Fire District.

Throughout my tenure in public office and my career in the private sector, I have always placed great emphasis on the value of hard work and professionalism. These are two things I will bring to the Supervisor position and will build off of my legislative accomplishments in the Legislature. I will continue to be a voice pushing for traffic studies, increased recycling, and other programs that positively impact my constituents.
I would like to bring about an immediate change in how development is done in the Town of Colonie. I will begin a Town-wide systematic update of our data to ensure that our infrastructure projects are being planned and paid for using updated, rather than decades old data. I will institute smart-growth strategies and down-zoning to help mitigate the repercussions we are facing due to over-development. I will explore ways to finance the major infrastructure upgrades we need as well. We need to protect the quality of life that makes Colonie such a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I will create a professional Town Hall administration tasked with creating innovative ways to expand our economy while ensuring the needs and wants of residents are met first. I will have an open-door policy focused on creating an efficient government designed to ensure a sustainable Colonie.
