Education Business Administration, BA Thomas More College. Summa Cum Laude Political Science, United States Naval Academy
Occupation Manager, Airgas USA
Experience Former Chairman, Civil Service Commission. Treasurer Springdale PTA. Founder Cub Scout Pack 251 in Springdale. Boy Scout Leader Troop 417.
Political Philosophy Focusing on building a stronger community by making Springdale a great place to work and live. Springdale Elementary is an amazing school and with the new high school, Springdale is a great community for young families. Our easy access to 275 and 75 also make us a prime location for business.
I have served this country as a member of the military, and for the past 18 years I have served this community as a basketball coach, Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, on the Civil Service Commission and as a leader in the Springdale PTA.
First, we have an older community, and a lot of homes that have raised the first generation of Springdale families are coming on the market. We need a plan for a new generation. Second, we need to work with the building department to ensure that properties are being maintained in the community in a manner that is fair and friendly, this would include foreclosed and rental properties. Finally, we need to protect the services our city provides.
